Summer Concert Series: The Revisionists

The Revisionists are a Sierra Nevada family trio who blend and bend musical genres and eras (from the turn of the last century to present day) to create a unique sound that is rich in layered rhythms, beautiful tones, harmonies and feel good vibes. An eclectic mix of classic rock and current pop hits, Latin and Gypsy jazz, Americana roots, rockabilly, folk and blues…as well as their original pieces, all pieced together seamlessly for a down home, front porch mountain musical experience. Bring your dancing shoes for this fun musical night!

On vocals, ukulele and percussion is Grace Armstrong, who started performing in musical theater as a child, and was trained and mentored in performing arts, acting, jazz music and dance by Birdland era jazz greats of the 40s and 50s. Grace has been performing all her life. On guitar and vocals is Mark Wilson,  a celebrated South Lake Tahoe musician, who has played his “One of a Kind” solo act every Monday night for 30 years at the famous McP’s restaurant and pub. On vocals Bella Wilson is Mark and Grace’s very talented daughter, who shares her parent’s passion for music. Bella has a rich and vibrant voice, and an amazing ear for harmonies. She was steeped in music from birth, and it shows.
